Scope of Works
Itare Dam will address water shortages in Nakuru Town, Molo and Rongai areas. The project scope includes 57m high dam, 100,000m3/day WTP, 110 km bulk conveyance pipeline (1200 - 900 mm dia) and storage works. The contractor of the project is CMC di Ravenna of Italy Population to be served -800,000 people

Kshs. 11,399,322,188.43 inclusive of advance Kshs. 4,346,060,923.82 Total expenditure being incurred by Agency on security of Assets left on dam site and near tunnel exit Ksh 500,000 for CIPU and Kshs.1.7m for Securicor company ICC dispute case resolved. Settlement agreement made and implementation of the same is ongoing and tracked through Resumption of works roadmap Clients awaits submission of documentation regarding the JV to enable further evaluation including necessary due diligence.
