1.) Intake Works at Ruguti River 2.) Treatment Works 15,000 m3/day 3.) 7 Km of Raw Water and Treated water mains Ranging from 450mm-150mm 4.)15.4km transmission main 5.) 2No. Storage tanks of 500 m3 each
Impacts
• There are over 40 people employed by the project, enhancing economy of the area.
• It is expected to increase the water production for the WSP and eventually the revenue
Key Challenges
• Delay in the GOK counter fund.
• There is challenge of the way leaves.
Remarks
The works have been going on well, the TW are complete and test running is ongoing.
