Scope of Works
• The project is to cover the all regions of Kenya covering and area of 58,0376km2 for an estimated population of 47.5 million people
• To undertake groundwater mapping and the concentration of aluminium residue in water
• To undertake groundwater sampling, quality testing and mapping
• To determine viable solution to mitigate high Aluminium concentrations in water for community use.
• To determine suitable local institutions, and community action groups (CAGs) for training on effective measures for sustainable management, conservation, protection and governance of groundwater resources
Impacts
• Improved water quality drinking water within the affected communities.
• Develop a Kenya map with aluminium distribution on Water
• Generate a country map on Alminium distribution in water.
• Improved quality of availability water for domestic uses
• Improved water for schools and hospitals
