Scope of Works
 Embankment improvement & rehabilitation works for 700,000m3 earth dam; At least 3m dam embankment raising & downstream slope earth filling, grassing, dam crest road provision to 6m width, rip-rap protection on upstream slope, incorporation of a core trench, filter blanket, rock toe and toe drain.  Provision of a new main spillway; construct a 16.5m long concrete ogee weir positioned on the Left-Hand side of the embankment.  A new 350mm diameter, 650m long, steel gravity Raw Water Main from the intake to a new treatment works;  A new treatment works of capacity 6500 m3/d about 650 m from the intake at an elevation of about 1985m including two 1000m3 concrete ground clear water tanks, staff houses and laboratory;  New treated water pumped mains: 8.5 km, OD 315mm diameter HDPE pipeline from the new treatment works to a new elevated storage tank at Ngobitwa School and a 7km, OD 355mm HDPE pipe from the treatment works to a new elevated storage tank at Kamoret School;  2 No. new 500 m3 elevated steel tanks at Ngobitwa and at Kamoret, and a 150 m3 ground concrete tank and 100 m3 elevated steel tanks Kosachei.  New HDPE distribution mains from the elevated tanks at Ngobitwa and Kamoret schools varying in diameter from DN225 to DN63mm of total length 80km to serve the Soy, Kosachei and Kamagut schemes.
