Scope of Works
Expansion of intake works to 8,8oom3/day capacity, Construction of a new water treatment plant of 4,800m3/day, rehabilitation and augmentation of eexisting water treatment works to 4,000m3/day. Establishment of 2 solar farms for new and existing plants. Laying of main transmision pipelines to treatment works and storage tanks. Contraction of Water storage tanks at Kodoyo. Drilling and equipping of 2No boreholes at Rodi Kopany. Construction of 2No tanks at Rodi and 2 water kiosks. Supply of O&M equpment
Impacts
Increased water coverage. Increased hours of water supply. Reduced cases of water borne diseases. Increased comercial viability of WSP.
Key Challenges
Existing old and delapidated infrastructure within the water supply system. Limited connectivity. Limited Waste water system
