Scope of Works• The project is to cover the all regions of Kenya covering and area of 58,0376km2 for an estimated population of 47.5 million people • To undertake groundwater mapping and the concentration of aluminium residue in water • To undertake groundwater sampling, quality testing and mapping • To determine viable solution to mitigate high Aluminium concentrations in water for community use. • To determine suitable local institutions, and community action groups (CAGs) for training on effective measures for sustainable management, conservation, protection and governance of groundwater resources
Impacts• Improved water quality drinking water within the affected communities. • Develop a Kenya map with aluminium distribution on Water • Generate a country map on Alminium distribution in water. • Improved quality of availability water for domestic uses • Improved water for schools and hospitals
