| Target Areas | The target area is the Nairobi Aquifer Suite. Extensively covering the whole of Nairobi County and its constituencies as well as some parts of the Kajiado, Kiambu and Machakos County that fall within the Nairobi Metropolitan area. |

| Scope of Works | • Undertake a comprehensive groundwater mapping of the Nairobi Metropolitan area.
• Undertake groundwater recharge in Nairobi Aquifer Suite covering approximately 3000square kilometers
• Develop 3 MAR sites within the suite by drilling 3 injection well inject water
• Develop 3 wells to monitor groundwater in the said areas.
• Develop 3 above ground storage capacities. |

| Challenges | Several illegal Boreholes making it hard to monitor the groundwater trends in the area post groundwater recharge
