| Impacts | There will be reduction in waterborne diseases due to access to clean water leading to better overall health and reduced healthcare costs. There will be increased school attendance especially for girls as they spend less time collecting water. Access to clean water will increase productivity in the workforce, leading to improved livelihoods and economic growth, women and girls often bear the burden of collecting water, so improved water access will empower them and provide more time for other activities |
