Scope of Works
Intake Works on Arror River Raw Water Gravity Main (Diameter 400, length 4.53Km) Water Treatment Works (capacity 5,360m3/d), Treated Water Transmission Mains consisting of the following: • Kapsowar Gravity Main (Diameter 250 – 315, length 14.28km) from the Water Treatment Works to Arror Pumping Station with enroute offtakes, • Arror Rising Main (Diameter 225, Length 0.95km) from Arror Pumphouse to the Proposed Kapsowar Storage Tank; • Chesoi Gravity Main (Diameter 140, length 2.1km) • Maina Gravity Offtake (Diameter 110, length 4.53km) • Metipsoo Gravity Offtake (Diameter 75, length 0.3km) • Kipsaiya Gravity Offtake (Diameter 125, length 1.22km) • Kapsumai Gravity Main (Diameter 140, length 5.59km) from the Proposed Kapsowar Storage Tank to the Proposed Sinon Storage Tank / Pumping Station; • Kapsumai Rising Main (Diameter 125, length 2.64km) • Diameter140, , 589m long Rising Main to Kapsicha Storage Tank from the Treatment Works; v) 12 Nr. Storage Reservoirs to be supplied via offtakes from the Treated Water Transmission Main (capacities varying from 100m3 - 1000m3); vi) Distribution Mains from the Storage Tanks (HDPE pipes, diameters varying from Diameter 50 to 160 – approximately 63.13km vii) 9 Nr. Break Pressure Tanks (capacities ranging from (5m3 – 50m3) viii) Rehabilitation of 3Nr. Existing Water Supply Systems (Kapsowar, Koibatek and Sambirir Water Supply Systems)
